Marzena & Slawek
Marzena Stachura and Slawek Sochacki were both born in Poland.
Marzena and Slawek have been dancing together for over 14 years. They moved to the United States in 2002. For three consecutive years (2005-2007) they were Polish representatives to the World, European Champions in 10 Dance Division, as well as 2005 Standard Champions.
In 2008 they took one year off for the birth of their son, Lukasz. Their come back on the dance floor was quite a surprise. Marzena and Slawek not only decided to compete in American Smooth, but they did it with the best result!
In 2010 they became US National Professional Champions, Orlando, FL. The same year they won World Cup Professional Smooth, Irvine, CA and they were crowned World Professional Champions in Columbus, OH. Since then they have won 30 competitions across the United States and Costa Rica. In March 2011 they were invited to show American Smooth in Poland during the Polish National Championships. In 2011 they won their second US National Title in Orlando, FL.
Marzena and Slawek are currently teaching in Orange County, California.
